Year 4 recently visited the Lancashire Science Festival. They had a brilliant time learning lots of exciting things. They took shots on a football goal and used a speedometer to calculate the MPH. They also learnt about alternative food resources (in the form of insect chocolate!) for countries who need to find solutions to malnutrition. Some of our brave children even ate some themselves! They enjoyed describing unseen objects using a feely bag, learnt how science and maths work together to help animate Disney films and much, much more. They can't wait to go back next year!
