Why practice Honesty?

Honesty is important because it build trusts. When people lie it means the trust that other people have in them is broken. Once trust is broken it is very hard to get it back. When people aren’t honest with themselves they pretend that something does not matter to them when really, it does or they exaggerate things in order to impress others. Being honest with yourself means you accept yourself for who you are and by being an honest person, people with believe you and trust you.

Why be respectful

Respect means that you accept somebody for who they are, even when they’re different from you or you don’t agree with them. Respect builds up the feeling of trust, safety and well-being. By showing every person respect you are able to learn from those who are different from you. Everyone has different opinions and it is good to be open-minded to these opinions and see it as a learning opportunity.  As well as respecting others is being able to respect yourself. This means giving and defining your own worth and value as a human being, understanding who are are, what you like, what you don’t like, your strengths and the areas which you need to improve on.
