School Uniform

The governors and staff positively encourage the wearing of school uniform supporting the school aims to prepare students for every aspect of life including the establishment of acceptable dress and appearance.  This uniform policy has been created to ensure all students can be confident through their smart appearance and represent the school appropriately.

“School uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of the school and setting an appropriate tone. Uniform can instil pride, support positive behaviour and discipline, encourage identity with, and support for school ethos, ensures students of all races and backgrounds feel welcome, protect children from social pressure to dress in a particular way and nurture cohesion and promote good relations between different groups of students”.

Jumper's/cardigan's are available from Ragamuffin's in Layton. Shirts, polo shirts and pumps are available from Asda and all good stockists. We also offer a uniform Swap Shop which is held each half-term and upon request from parents and carers.

If you are struggling to buy any uniform items, or need any support, please contact the school office to speak to Mrs Bradley

Please note: ties are a uniform requirement for children in Year 1 upwards, the wearing of ties in Nursery and Reception is optional
