999 Cadets Response

This week, the mini-cadets were back at base learning all about the 'response' team and their role and the equipment needed. Two officers talked through the grading system and the amount of time they have to respond to different incidents. Keeping people safe is their main aim and they stated how they avoid using the pepper spray and batons at all costs.  They also showed us how to hand-cuff somebody! Another informative session which challenged some of the cadets' misconceptions about the police.
