Year 3 - RE - Christianity

To start our unit of work on Christianity and God, we recapped our prior learning on the Christian faith.

We recalled the holy book, the place of worship, the language and the name used to refer to the Christian God. 

We then thought about the different qualities’ leaders can have.  We looked at some famous leaders such as Sir David Attenborough and Greta Thunberg and then we thought about how we could show leadership qualities of confidence, responsibility and honesty within school.  

In our second lesson, we linked our knowldge of leader to the Bible stories of Moses and Noah.  We thought about what Chritians can learn from these stories and why God may have chosen Noah and Moses as leaders.
