Year 3 - Science Experiment

Date: 15th Oct 2025 @ 8:25pm

In our science lesson on Animals Including Humans, we explored the question: Do bigger muscles mean you can jump further? We made predictions, then tested four children of different heights and muscle sizes. We measured each child’s femur length, thigh muscle size, and how far they could jump. It was exciting to collect real data and compare results. We discovered that while bigger muscles can help, other factors like leg length and technique also affect how far you can jump. It was a fun and active way to learn about muscles, bones, and how our bodies work!
