Year 3 - Shadow Dance

In our dance lesson today, we explored how light plays a huge role in creating reflections and shadows. Have you ever noticed how shadows change shape when we move? It’s almost like they’re dancing with us! We started by pretending to be a warm, beams of light, as we travelled in straight lines around the hall. Then, we switched gears and partnered up do be eachothers' shadow where we had to copy the movements. Remember, light can transform everything around us, and dancing helps us understand these amazing science concepts. Let's keep experimenting with our movements!
