Year 4 - RE Project

During Lent, the Year 4 children took part in a special project focused on almsgiving, raising both awareness and money for charity. The children were split into three groups: fundraisers, creators, and speakers. The fundraising team decided to sell sweet cones, thoughtfully setting suggested donation prices and designing stickers to promote their efforts. The awareness group worked hard to create a post for the school website and designed colourful posters to raise awareness about deafness and the important work of the National Deaf Children’s Society. Meanwhile, the speakers group prepared an engaging presentation for an assembly as part of Deaf Awareness Week.

Through their teamwork, creativity, and dedication, the children successfully raised £150 for the charity from their after school tuck shop.
