Year 4 - Transition

Year 4 had an enjoyable transition session last week. The class focused on team-building exercises centered around some of our boundary promises—showing respect to others and working well together.

The children first played a guessing game where one child gave clues without using certain words. Next, they had to get everyone through a hula hoop in the quickest time possible. Laurel (the new Hawthorn) managed it in 33 seconds!

After that, they took part in various Taskmaster-style activities, such as using objects to create a tabletop game, building the tallest tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows, and designing an aeroplane that would travel the fastest.
