The desired impact of this is:

• For children to foster a celebration of learning for key religious festivals.
• For children to have built on their long-term memory – storing key information, retaining key vocabulary and retrieving prior learning.
• Children will be able to demonstrate that they have a good knowledge and understanding of studies of regions.
• Children will have a love of learning about different religions and have an awareness of the key religions followed in Great Britain.
• Children will be able to grasp the similarities and differences between different religions.
• Children will be tolerant of others.
