This week in Blossoms, we have been revisiting some of our phonics sounds. The children worked hard to recognise different graphemes and say the correct phonemes.

Using pictures to support our learning, we explored words linked to each sound. The children practised segmenting words into individual sounds and then blending the sounds together to read the whole word.

The visual resources and hands-on activities supported the children.
