Mobile Phones in School
📱 Mobile Phones at Boundary Primary School 📱
At Boundary Primary, we are proud to be a mobile phone–free environment. This helps us keep children safe, focused, and fully engaged in their learning and play throughout the day.
✅ What this means:
Pupil mobile phones, smart watches, or any devices capable of messaging or making calls must not be used, seen, or heard at any time on site.
This includes lessons, corridors, and social times such as break and lunch.
📦 If a device is brought to school:
It must be handed to the class teacher or teaching assistant at the start of the day.
Devices will be stored securely in the classroom and returned at the end of the day.
🩺 Exceptions:
Reasonable adjustments can be made for medical or essential needs, following an appropriate risk assessment.
⚠️ If the rule is broken:
Breaches will be dealt with in line with our school behaviour policy.
Repeated breaches may lead to the device being confiscated and collected by a parent or carer.
🔐 Please note:
The school cannot accept responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal devices brought onto the premises.
Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a calm, safe, and focused learning environment for all our children. 🌟
