At our first Eco Warriors meeting of the year, we discussed the important jobs that Eco Warriors will carry out around school. These include making sure recycling is placed in the correct bins, switching off lights, computers and screens when they are not being used, and helping to keep our school environment tidy by picking up litter. We also agreed to encourage other children not to drop litter in and around the school grounds.

We discussed our plans for the next meeting, where the Year 5 and Year 6 Eco Warriors will take responsibility for recording the meeting minutes. We will also complete our annual Environmental Review as part of our work towards renewing the Green Flag Award. Everyone agreed that these actions will help our school become even more environmentally friendly throughout the year.
