Some of the children discovered a new way to use our mud kitchen resources this week when they turned the pots, pans and utensils into a fantastic outdoor drum band!

The children enjoyed exploring the different sounds they could make by tapping, banging and drumming on the various objects. They worked together to create rhythms, take turns and perform for their friends, filling the outdoor area with music and laughter.

This spontaneous activity encouraged creativity, communication and collaboration as the children experimented with different beats and sounds. It was wonderful to see them using their imaginations and transforming everyday resources into musical instruments.
