Nursery Explore Outside

This week the children have enjoyed lots of exciting learning experiences in our outdoor area. They loved exploring the different activities available and making the most of the fresh air and sunshine.

The water play area was a firm favourite, with children pouring, filling and splashing as they investigated how water moves through different containers. They worked together, shared resources and explored new vocabulary while having fun.

Our mud kitchen was full of creativity as the children mixed, stirred and served up delicious imaginary meals. From muddy cakes to special soups, there were plenty of opportunities for imaginative play, teamwork and conversation.

The children also had great fun developing their coordination through a bat and ball game. They practised hitting, catching and chasing the balls, showing determination and excitement as they improved their skills. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they encouraged one another and celebrated their successes.
