Nursery Sports Stay & Play
Date: 21st May 2026 @ 11:01am
We were delighted to welcome our families into Nursery for a fun-filled Sports Stay and Play session! It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers joining in and sharing such special moments with the children.
The session was packed with a variety of exciting activities designed to build confidence, coordination and teamwork. One of the highlights was the penalty shoot-out, where children eagerly took turns aiming for the goal, supported and cheered on by their grown-ups. There were plenty of smiles and celebrations with every successful shot!
The children also enjoyed target practice, showing great focus and determination as they aimed carefully at their targets. Another popular activity was tossing beanbags into hoops, helping to develop hand–eye coordination in a playful and engaging way.
Over at the bats and balls station, children explored hitting and controlling balls, practising their skills with enthusiasm and growing confidence. It was lovely to see parents actively encouraging their children and celebrating their efforts.
These shared experiences not only supported the children’s physical development but also strengthened relationships between home and school. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the session such a success—we look forward to many more opportunities to learn and play together!
