Reception Composition of 5

This week we have been focusing on the composition of the number 5.  We have explored different ways of making five using a range of resources including the part part whole frame, 5 frames and multi link.  The children represented the number in different ways and then orally recited the number bonds to 5.  Some children even had a go a recorded the number bonds as a calculation with support.
