Reception explore composition

This week in maths we have been exploring the diffferent numberbonds to 5 and 10.  The children used the numicon to find out the different ways they can make 5 and 10 using two numbers.  The worked together to problem solve and with some support were about to record their finds as a calculation.  We have also been practicing recalling our numberbonds from memory.
