School Council Elections Are Here! 

This week marks the exciting launch of our School Council Elections, giving pupils the opportunity to have their voices heard and play an important role in shaping school life. 

The elections officially began today with a whole-school assembly, where children learned about the British Value of democracy, why voting is important, and what it means to be a School Councillor. 

During the assembly, pupils explored the qualities and characteristics that make an effective School Councillor. They discussed the importance of leadership, responsibility, listening to others, and representing their classmates. Children also learned how they can promote themselves positively and encourage their peers to vote for them. 

Being a member of the School Council is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference, share ideas, and help improve our school community. It is a role that requires commitment, enthusiasm, and a willingness to listen to and represent others.
