The Dot
Date: 22nd Apr 2025 @ 8:50pm
The whole school created some wonderful art work inspired by the book "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds and the artist Wassily Kandinsky. The story "The Dot" explores the idea that anyone can be an artist by starting with a small mark on a piece of paper. Each year group were given a single colour to work with and then created a self-portrait on one circle and patterns on another. To add depth and contrast, the children explored tints, hues and shades and added texture using different marks and lines. The circles are going to be used to create our very own Boundary Dot display.
