Year 1- Exploring our senses of sight and hearing

Today in Science, we began exploring two of our senses: sight and hearing. We discussed which parts of our bodies help us see and hear and learned how our eyes and ears help us detect a stimulus before our brains identify what it is. We enjoyed a game of sound bingo, where we listened carefully to different sounds and tried to identify them. We then went on a sensory walk around the school grounds, observing the sights and sounds we could experience in our environment. It was a fantastic opportunity to investigate our senses in action!
