Year 1 Fundamental Skills

This half term we are focusing on our fundamental skills. So far we have explored different ways of travelling, looking to find space when travelling and travelling with a partner.
Yesterday, we looked at our throwing and catching. We began to learn to difference between underarm and overarm throws. We learned the 3 step rule of being successful when catching an object. 1. Look at the thrower. 2. Cup our hands. 3. Move our arms to our chest once we have caught the object to help keep it from dropping.
