Year 1 - Phonics Activities

In Year 1, we have worked incredibly hard and taken part in lots of phonics activities to help us prepare for our Phonics Screening Check. We have revisited digraphs, trigraphs and split digraphs, building our confidence and understanding of different sounds.

We have also practised using sound buttons to help us segment and blend words when reading. The children have shown great enthusiasm and determination.
