Year 2 have been busy developing their Design and Technology skills this week! 🪡✂️

We have been practising some of the important skills we will need for our sewing project. The children learned how to thread a needle, create a running stitch and tie secure knots. We also practised threading a range of different items to help develop our fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. 🧶🙌

It took lots of concentration, patience and perseverance, but we were so impressed with how everyone kept trying, even when it was tricky! 💪😊

Fantastic work, Year 2. We can’t wait to put these new sewing skills into action! 🪡🌟
