This morning, Year 3 and Year 4 took part in some exciting practical maths activities to strengthen their understanding of number bonds to 10. Using hands-on resources, games and partner challenges, the children worked brilliantly to find different number combinations and explain their thinking. Some groups even enjoyed a fun Halloween-themed challenge, using pumpkins, spiders and spooky number cards to make their learning extra engaging! It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, teamwork and mathematical confidence throughout the morning. 🎃➕👻
