Year 3 and Year 4 have been developing their prosody skills in Guided Reading, focusing on using expression, intonation and pacing to bring texts to life. The children practised reading aloud with confidence, thinking carefully about punctuation and the emotions of different characters. It was wonderful to hear everyone using their voices creatively to make their reading engaging and enjoyable for their audience!
