Year 3 - Christmas Nativity Art

Year 3 have been busy creating beautiful stained glass nativity scenes as part of their Christmas art. The children explored the nativity story and looked at examples of stained glass windows, noticing the bold outlines and bright colours used.

Using black card and foil, the children designed and created their own nativity scenes, carefully choosing shapes and colours to represent the Christmas story. The foil created a striking stained glass effect, especially when light shone through the finished artwork.

The completed pieces look fantastic on display and the children were very proud of their creative work. Well done, Year 3!
