Year 3 continued their art journey by combining paint and stitch to create textured landscapes inspired by land and water. The children used their sketchbooks to develop ideas, experiment with colour mixing and practise different marks. They then applied these skills to fabric, painting backgrounds and adding stitched details to create texture and movement. This helped them to understand how different materials can be used together to build interesting and expressive artwork.
