Year 3 - Yoga

Year 3 enjoyed a calming yet energetic yoga session this week, focusing on strength poses to build balance, control and confidence. The children practised a range of positions including downward dog, high plank, side support plank, high lunge, boat, bridge, chair and back support. Everyone showed great determination as they held each pose with growing strength and focus.
To finish, the children worked in pairs for a fun communication challenge: one partner described a pose using clear instructions while the other tried to recreate it. This led to lots of concentration, teamwork and giggles. A brilliant session full of movement, mindfulness and cooperation!
