Year 4 - Heritage Week

Year 4 enjoyed an exciting visit to Showtown Museum in Blackpool, where they explored interactive exhibits celebrating the town’s rich entertainment heritage, including circus, dance, magic and seaside shows. At school, we had been learning about how Blackpool grew from a small fishing village into one of Britain’s most famous seaside resorts during the 18th and 19th centuries, so the trip helped bring our history learning to life. The children had a fantastic day discovering the stories behind Blackpool’s success and gained a deeper understanding of the people and attractions that made the resort so popular.
