Year 4 Sports Week: Quidditch Fun!

As part of our exciting Sports Week, Year 4 pupils had the fantastic opportunity to take part in a Quidditch session, inspired by the world of Harry Potter, led by an external coach. The children were thrilled to step into the roles of Beaters, Seekers, Keepers, and even the famous Golden Snitch!

Pupils worked as part of their house teams, demonstrating teamwork, communication, and determination as they competed in this fast‑paced and energetic game. They practised a variety of skills, including throwing, catching, dodging, and decision‑making, all while embracing the fun and imaginative nature of Quidditch.

The session was filled with excitement, laughter, and great sportsmanship, with pupils fully engaging in their roles and encouraging one another throughout. Points were earned for each house team based on performance, teamwork, and effort.

After a closely contested set of matches, Slytherin (Rodwell) were crowned the overall winners—well done!

It was wonderful to see Year 4 pupils enjoying a unique sporting experience and showing such enthusiasm during Sports Week.
