Year 4 had a fantastic opportunity to explore our Romans topic using the Lancashire Museum Loan Box. The children examined a range of Roman artefacts, including army attire, pottery and writing tablets, learning more about what life was like during Roman times. They were especially excited to try on some of the replica army equipment, including helmets, shields and swords. This hands-on experience brought our history learning to life and helped the children develop a deeper understanding of the Roman Empire. Everyone showed great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the session! 🏛️⚔️🛡️
