This week’s Year 4 swimming session was unfortunately cancelled due to unforeseen issues with the pool, which meant it was not safe to use. While we were disappointed not to be able to swim, learning continued in a different way. Staff from the School Swimming Service visited the classroom and delivered an engaging and informative water-safety lesson. The session focused on staying safe in and around water, understanding potential risks, and knowing what to do in an emergency. The children participated well and gained valuable knowledge that supports their confidence and safety around water.
