🎨 Year 6 Begin Their Art Activism Journey ✊🌍

Year 6 have begun an exciting new topic in Art, exploring the idea of activism 🖌️. We started by discussing what activism means and talked about the political 🏛️, social 🤝 and environmental 🌱 issues that people choose to protest about. The children shared thoughtful ideas and showed great awareness of the world around them 💭✨.

To capture their learning, the children created a double page spread 📖 highlighting some of the issues we explored. This is the first step in their journey of using art as a powerful voice 🗣️ to express opinions and inspire change 💡💚.
